Hypnosis as a Treatment for Anxiety Related Issues

One of the most common issues with Anxiety is that a person who is suffering from it feels very alone.

In fact, the reverse is true. Over 40 million people in the US suffer anxious feelings, and of those 40 million only about 37% of them seek treatment.

This number increases exponentially every year. Yet most sufferers don’t realize that it is very treatable, and one of the most effective tools in the treatment of anxiety is Hypnotherapy. There are many physical symptoms that stem from Anxiety, and they are often mistaken for other health problems. In fact many of the symptoms that one might associate with heart problem, breathing problems and digestive problems are in fact, caused by Anxiety.

Of course I am not a physician and I always recommend to my clients that they have a thorough checkup by a qualified medical practitioner to rule out any real physical problems.

That being said, there are many ways that anxiety shows up in ones life, and there are many issues in ones life that can trigger anxious feelings and symptoms.

Hypnotherapy for Anxiety is a set of physical and mental exercises in which a person is taught to put him/herself into a relaxed state with enhanced alertness.

Hypnotherapy can be used to help you to manage anxious feelings or pain more effectively.

It is neither painful nor unsafe. It's equivalent to how you imagine when you daydream or even meditate.

The Hypnotherapist uses a series of suggestions to calm and reroute the brain from automatically hitting the Anxiety trigger when it imagines a threat to using breathing techniques and mindfulness to stop the buildup of symptoms before they get started.

Case studies have shown that Hypnotherapy for Anxiety can be an effective method that helps relieve stress, fear, and depression and boosts your self-confidence. The Hypnotherapist helps you to find the root cause of the issues you face, accesses your subconscious mind & promotes positive change.

Hypnotherapy can teach a person how to stay calm in the face of tension, anxiety, and fears. The Hypnotist may assist the individual in focusing on overcoming their fears and recommend techniques for remaining calm in triggering situations.

In our daily life, the harsh negative words we say to ourselves can trigger or increase anxiety and depression.

Every day, we have more than 50,000 feelings, the majority of which will be negative. Hypnotherapy for Anxiety is an efficient way for reframing negative thinking patterns that hold us trapped in places we don't want to be and moving us toward more constructive, motivating, and life-affirming reactions. When we feel more grounded and sure of ourselves and our feelings and place in the world, we are likely to experience fewer and fewer anxious feelings and symptoms as time goes by.

FAQs

Is Hypnotherapy for Anxiety is a risky treatment?

When performed by a qualified practitioner, Hypnotherapy is a healthy and safe treatment. Hypnosis is not the same as mind control or brainwashing. A Hypnotherapist cannot force a client to do something that he or she does not want to do, and in fact teaches the client to utilize his or her own natural resources to manage the triggers and symptoms that make living with Anxiety so difficult.

For Anxiety, how many Hypnotherapy sessions are required?

Typically, a minimum of 3–6 sessions are recommended for anxiety and stress-related problems, and occasionally more, to get you where you want to be. Session estimates are only meant to be used as a reference and are subject to the progress of the individual.

Is it possible to have Hypnotherapy online?

If you want to stay at home where you feel more relaxed and safe then Hypnotherapy can be done online. It's secure, convenient, and just as popular as face-to-face interaction. We're all getting used to meeting people over the internet via Zoom, Skype or Google Meet.
